Brangie's Wedding

So two of my friends got married last weekend in a beautiful ceremony (and incredibly fun reception) at the Sequoyah Country Club in the Oakland Hills. As a side note, the lucky couple (Brandon and Angelica) have been dubbed "Brangie" and/or "Brangelica" by their all too kind friends.

I made this first card to accompany their wedding present. This picture does not do the card any justice, but I used Frost White Shimmer paint in an alcohol spritzer bottle to give the card a little bling and shine.
This second card accompanied my shower gift to Angie.
Both cards were made using the For the Bride stamp set and mimicked the colors and baroque design from their wedding invitations.

Thanks again for a fun wedding guys! Lots of love and happiness to you both!

Let's Go GIANTS!!!

I know that Mothers' Day was several months ago, but being that our beloved Giants are in the playoffs right now, I figured I'd show some support for the orange and black and give you a peek at the projects I had made for my Mom and Nana on Mothers' Day.

My whole family (and especially my Nana) are HUGE San Francisco Giants fans. My Nana hadn't been to a game since the Giants played at Candlestick, so we figured it was time to get her to a game at the gorgeous AT&T park. I made these boxes to hold their tickets and key chains in. Both were super surprised that my Sister and I were taking them to a game and we all ended up having a great day.

LET'S GO GIANTS!!!!

Spider Web Treat Bags

Here is a sample of the quick and easy Halloween treat bags I just created for the classmates in my sewing class. I had brought samples of a few other projects I had made at our Downline Meeting to class last week to show my sister and a few of the ladies raved about Stampin' Up. I figured I'd spoil them with a few treats on our last night of class and show off the new Spider Web Embossing Folder from the Holiday Mini. I bought the black treat bags from Michael's, then just ran them through my Big Shot with the embossing folder. I finished the bag off with the adorable spider from the Batty for You stamp set - complete with googly eyes for fun. Super easy and super cute!
