This is my boyfriend's adorable and completely awesome sister, Manzy. After spending a fun day in Chinatown a few weeks ago with her, I knew the perfect gift to give her for her birthday. Well Manzy loves scarves and the color purple (just a few of the reasons we get along so great haha =) and I had been working on this simple scarf for quite some time...like a year or more...not consistently, but in my typical procrastination mode of course. So knowing Manzy's birthday was just a few weeks away, I got to work and actually finished the scarf in a couple of hours for her. She loved the scarf so much that she actually wants me to teach her how to knit now. I LOVE this girl, but I think I'm going to leave the teaching to my incredibly talented Nana instead =) Happy Birthday Manzy!! I'm glad you are enjoying the scarf.
